I am just amazed at what &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/secondlife.com\/\">Second Life<\/a>&#8221; has become. <\/p>\n<p>The statistics from it are insane&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p> US$ Spent Last 24 Hrs:  \t 433,454<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is a LOT of money spent on &#8220;virtually something&#8221; = nothing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Now <a href=\"http:\/\/today.reuters.com\">Reuters<\/a>  has &#8220;created&#8221; a special reporter just for Second Life.  Take a look: <a href=\"http:\/\/secondlife.reuters.com\/\">http:\/\/secondlife.reuters.com\/<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Are people so much bored of their current lives that they prefer they were somebody else and eventually pay real money to become one ?
